Herkki Erich Merila is an Estonian photo-based artist. Educated in Tallinn. He has exhibited worldwide since 1989. Co-founder of artistic groups Always Yours and DeStudio. His works are housed in Estonian Art Museum, Tartu Art Museum, MocP Chicago, Danish Museet för Fotokunst, Odense, Arkansas Art Centre, USA, and many other public and private collections.
